Small Groups

Our culture tends to value and encourage self-reliance and independence. Going it alone is often considered a sign of personal strength. In contrast however, we desire to live in a different manner. We were created to be in relationship with each other to such an extent that we are called a community!

The early followers of Jesus understood the need to gather as a church in small groups for support, encouragement, and training for ministry. These groups, meeting in homes, offered a place to form genuine relationships and they provided easy entry places for new believers. They also provided a non-threatening, comfortable place for those who were seeking to know more about Jesus and His church.

Our small group ministry at PBC is varied and flexible, but designed to help us grow in relationship with others, and with God. Below is a list of our current groups and details of ‘roughly’ when they meet and where:

  • Discipleship - Tuesday mornings (Pitlochry)

  • 3in1 - Tuesday afternoons (Pitlochry)

  • Aberfeldy - Wednesday evenings (Aberfeldy)

  • Life - Monday/Wednesday evenings (Pitlochry)

  • BLT - Thursday evenings (Pitlochry)

  • Community - Thursday evenings (Pitlochry)

All volunteers and staff who serve in our ministries at Pitlochry Baptist Church are PVG checked and operate within our Safeguarding Policy. If you would like to read our policy, you can do so here.
